| Islamic Center of the Quad Cities (ICQC) is the first Islamic center in Quad Cities established by local Muslims in 1982. The Masjid Al-Ihsan is the first proper mosque in QC area located at the intersection of Kennedy drive (60th St.) and 34th avenue in Moline under the management of ICQC. Its objectives are to establish and maintain facility for the practice of religion of ISLAM and to provide Islamic education to local Muslim community. And to provide knowledge about Islam & Muslims to the local community at large. Leadership at ICQC is eager to remove any misperception about Islam and Muslims and to foster a sustainable friendly relationship with the local community. Activities at Masjid Al-Ihsan include five daily prayer, Friday prayer, Quran Study circle and kids educational classes. |

Quad Cities Muslim Community

| There are several hundreds of Muslims in QC and it's vicinity. The annual congregational prayers normally have 400-500 Muslims. Beside ICQC, it's sister organization, Muslim Community of QC is situated at 2115 Kimberly Road, Bettendorf (Ph. 563-359-8123). QC Muslims are active in all walks of life, they are MDs, engineers, professors, shopkeepers and factory workers. |
